Ready before the first drop-off.

Parents size up a childcare center in the few minutes it takes to sign in, hang a backpack and say goodbye. A fresh entry, a tidy cubby wall and a rug that is clean enough to sit on tell them the day is off to a good start. Reno Cleaning Co cleans daycare centers, preschool programs and before- and after-school spaces once the last child heads home, so teachers open the door to rooms that are set to go.

Directors know exactly who works in their rooms at night. Every cleaner passes a background check first, and supervisors hold quality inspections against your written plan, room by room.

The entry gets particular care: the sign-in counter or tablet stand, door glass at a child’s height, the stroller corner and the cubby area where coats and snow boots pile up in winter are wiped, swept and mopped every visit.

Classrooms, cleaned at a child’s eye level.

Childcare classrooms get cleaned from a toddler’s height as much as an adult’s. Low tables and chairs, cubbies, window sills, the lower panes of glass, door edges and the handles small hands reach first are all wiped on each visit. Toy shelves and bin fronts are dusted and wiped, and reading rugs and carpet squares are vacuumed so circle time starts on a fresh floor. Sensory and water tables are wiped down on the outside, and the floor around them is dried and cleaned.

The art corner earns extra time: paint drips, dried glue and glitter come up from tables, chairs and the floor around the easel, and the classroom sink and counter are scrubbed clean.

Nap rooms, changing stations and small restrooms.

Nap rooms are vacuumed or damp-mopped around the cot stacks, and cots and mats go back to the spots your teachers mark on the plan. Diaper-changing counters, the sink beside each one and the floor beneath are cleaned and disinfected, and every diaper pail is emptied and relined.

Little toilets, low sinks and the step stools beside them are cleaned and sanitized, mirrors and partitions wiped, and soap, paper towels and tissue refilled. Those supplies can come from your own storage, or arrive with the crew as part of our janitorial supplies. Adult restrooms for staff and parents get the same treatment through restroom care.

Meal tables, kitchens and the big room.

Wherever meals and snacks are served, the crew wipes tables, chairs and high-chair trays, cleans counters, sinks and appliance fronts, and sweeps and mops under every table, where most of lunch tends to land. A center kitchen gets its counters, prep sinks and floors cleaned to match, and bottle-prep counters in infant rooms are wiped with the sink beside them scrubbed.

Multipurpose rooms and indoor play areas get a full pass too: mirrors and windows wiped, play mats cleaned, and floors swept and mopped or vacuumed, so a rainy-day gym session starts on a clean surface.

Centers of every shape around Reno.

A Reno childcare program might fill a stand-alone center with its own playground, share a church or community building, or occupy a few classrooms in an office park or shopping center. The walkthrough maps your building, whether it has one hallway or several wings, and notes the rooms that host before- and after-school groups so they are timed correctly.

In a shared building, the plan lists which rooms belong to your program, so the crew focuses on your space and leaves the rest to its own schedule.

Around the program year and summer.

Most centers open early and close late, so cleaning fits the evening hours after pickup. Summer camp weeks, holiday closures and enrollment changes are natural times to revisit the plan, adding rooms that are newly in use and easing off on rooms that sit quiet. A quick note from your director, such as a spill in the toddler room or a parent night coming up, goes straight onto the next visit’s list.

Bigger floor work, such as carpet extraction in classrooms and strip-and-refinish of vinyl tile in hallways and changing areas, is booked through floor and carpet care for weekends or closure days, giving floors plenty of time to dry before Monday.

Your center’s quote, line by line.

A free walkthrough comes first. Your written quote then reflects the number of classrooms and changing areas, the size of play and multipurpose rooms, how many restrooms the center has, how many evenings each week cleaning runs and any floor projects you want on the calendar. Adding a classroom or a summer program later simply adds a line.

A few useful answers

Common questions

When do the cleaners come in?

After the last pickup, on the evenings your plan lists, so rooms are cleaned with no children in the building. Weekend visits can be added for floor work.

Will the crew put each room back the way teachers set it up?

Yes. Table layouts, cot spots and learning-center setups are noted on the plan during the walkthrough, and cleaners return each item to its place after cleaning around and under it.

Can you supply the soap and paper towels for our classrooms?

Yes. Paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, hand sanitizer and can liners can be supplied and refilled on each visit as part of our janitorial supplies, or cleaners can top up dispensers from your own stock.

Who is in our building after hours?

Only our cleaners, each one background-checked, plus the supervisors who inspect their work. Behind the crew stand insurance, bonding and workers’ compensation, and your director receives our certificate of insurance for the center’s records.
